Refund Policy

Overview

At Barnabas Leadership, we are committed to providing excellent service and value to our clients. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures and guidelines for refunds on our consulting services, workshops, and keynote speaking engagements.

Consulting Services

Standard Consulting Services

  • Consulting services are typically non-refundable once delivered

  • For prepaid consulting packages:

    • Full refund (less any preparation costs incurred) if cancelled 14+ days before first scheduled session

    • 50% refund (less any preparation costs incurred) if cancelled 7-13 days before first scheduled session

    • No refund for cancellations less than 7 days before scheduled session

  • Preparation costs may include:

    • Time spent on client discovery and needs analysis

    • Custom material development

    • Research and framework adaptation

    • Resource allocation and planning

  • Note: Any preparation work already completed will be deducted from refund amounts to cover actual costs incurred

 

Long-term Engagements

For consulting engagements spanning multiple months:

  • Unused prepaid months are eligible for 75% refund with 30 days notice

  • Current month's services are non-refundable

  • Custom payment arrangements will have specific refund terms outlined in the service agreement

Workshops and Training Sessions

Deposits and Rescheduling

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure workshop dates

  • Deposits can be transferred to future workshops or services if scheduling changes are needed

  • Workshop dates can be rescheduled with minimum 14 days notice without additional fees

  • Rescheduling with less than 14 days notice may incur additional fees based on preparation work completed

 

Deposit Refunds

Deposit refund considerations are based on:

  • Amount of preparation work already completed

  • Notice period provided

  • Ability to reschedule the slot with another client

  • Materials and resources already purchased or created

 

Typical scenarios:

  • 30+ days notice: Deposit can be transferred to future services or partially refunded

  • 14-29 days notice: Deposit transferable to future services; partial refunds considered based on work completed​

Workshop Cancellations

  • Workshops cancelled by client less than 7 days before scheduled date are responsible for full payment. This policy exists because by this point:

    • All workshop materials have been prepared and customized

    • The time slot has been reserved and cannot be filled by another client

    • Other business opportunities have been declined for this booking

    • Resources have been allocated and scheduled

    • Preparation work and customization has been completed

  • Note: Cancellations are treated differently from rescheduling requests. For rescheduling options, please see the "Workshop Rescheduling" section above.

Keynote Speaking Engagements

Deposits

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure keynote speaking dates

  • Deposits are non-refundable due to:

    • Extensive customization and research completed for your specific event

    • Time slot commitment prevents booking other opportunities

    • Travel arrangements and logistics coordinated

    • Content development and presentation materials created

 

Cancellations

  • Keynote speaking deposits are non-refundable for any cancellation

  • See rescheduling options below for alternatives to cancellation

 

Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests made more than 30 days before the event:

    • Deposit will transfer to new date

    • Must be rescheduled within 6 months

  • Rescheduling requests within 30 days of the event:

    • May incur additional fees based on preparation completed

    • New date must be confirmed within 6 months

    • Additional deposit may be required to secure new date

Special Circumstances

Dissatisfaction with Services

If you are dissatisfied with our services:

  1. Contact us immediately to discuss your concerns

  2. We will work to address any issues and find an appropriate resolution

  3. Any refund considerations will be at our sole discretion

 

Technical Issues

  • Alternative session times will be offered if technical issues prevent service delivery

  • Documentation of technical issues may be required

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refund:

  • Workshop deposits

  • Completed consulting sessions

  • Materials prepared for workshops or training

  • Services cancelled without proper notice as outlined above

  • Customized materials created for your organization

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Severe weather events

  • Public health emergencies

  • National emergencies

  • Other extraordinary circumstances

 

The following options will be available:

  • Rescheduling to a mutually agreeable future date with full deposit transfer

  • Adjusting the delivery format as needed (e.g., virtual sessions, hybrid delivery, or modified structure)

 

We will work with clients to find the most suitable solution for their needs while ensuring the value of their investment is preserved. No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to force majeure circumstances, but we are committed to delivering the contracted services through alternative means or dates.
